Mircom’s History

Mircom’s story began right here in Canada. In the early 1960s, founder Tony Falbo pioneered apartment intercom systems under the brand Mirtone, which quickly evolved into one of Canada’s leading fire alarm manufacturers. After founding Mircom in 1991, Tony built a legacy based on the core values of innovation, integrity, and service, and we still carry those values today.

Now, Mircom stands as North America’s largest independent designer, manufacturer, and distributor of intelligent building solutions—all with deep Canadian roots.
